New Linear Accelerator Delivered

The new linear accelerator is delivered to the JCMH campus of the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma. The twelve-week installation process of the Elekta Compact(tm) Linear Accelerator includes the placement into the concrete vault and several weeks of quality-standard checks by a nuclear physicist. The linear accelerator will provide cancer patients the optimal care in radiation therapy. Construction remains on schedule and the JCMH campus of the Cancer Centers of Oklahoma is scheduled to be open and operational by August 1.
